Best prices reserved for new customers only!!!!!!
Is anyone else here beyond frustrated with Cox Internet?
The cost feels unbelievably high compared to what we actually get. They market these plans with flashy “up to” speeds, but in reality, the connection almost never comes close. I’ve run countless speed tests, and what I’m paying for is not what I’m consistently receiving.
With their 100 Mbps plan, I couldn’t even make business video calls without the video freezing and dropping out—it was just awful. I finally gave up and tried upgrading, only to be promptly informed that the advertised prices I was seeing on their own site were only for new customers. So let me get this straight: I stay loyal for ten years and I don’t get a better rate than someone who just signed up yesterday?
That was the last straw. I called AT&T and, in a few days, I won’t be a Cox customer anymore.
Has anyone else run into the same thing with Cox not honoring their own pricing for long-time customers? Or made the switch to another provider and found it to be more reliable and fairly priced?
Would love to hear your experiences—good or bad—so we can all compare notes.
