Auto-Pay Confirmations

I just signed up for Auto Payment.  I assume Cox will send an email for payment confirmations to my primary Cox email account.  Can I change the email account for my payment confirmations?

I have another computer configured with a non-Cox email account for all my electronic payments (electric, gas, etc).  I want to add my Cox confirmations to that account.

Hi Bruce,

Cox will send notifications to the preferred email address on file. You are not required to have your primary Cox email account as the preferred email address for notifications, however, there can only be one email address.

Is there an email for auto-payment confirmation?  I didn't get one.  i had to log into my Cox account to verify the payment.  I'd rather receive an email.

Is there an account option to receive a confirmation?

Hi Bruce,

You should have received an email if you’ve opted in to receive notification for billing and payment reminders. You can verify contact information on www.cox.com through My Account or if you prefer, we can verify this for you by emailing our team at cox.help@cox.com with this post, your full name and complete address.

All the options are checked to receive an email under My Profile / Profile & Contact / Notifications:

 - Appointment Reminders
 - Billing and Payment
 - Billing Reminders
 - Order Confirmations

They have been checked for a long time, but I didn't receive a payment confirmation.

If you've made no changes to the email notifications, and you're not receiving the payment email notification, please email us at cox.help@cox.com with your name, address, and URL to this thread.

Would I need to send you an email every month for you to confirm my payment with a return email?  I'd rather just receive an automated email.

We can check your account to verify the email on file as well as if a notification was sent out. This could help us determine why it wasn't received.
