Cox ipv6 connectivity isn't working.  Yahoo uses ipv6 and without access, we can't access it.  the tech chat guy told me it's not them but it's my browser (!) but whatever

Sounds like tech guy doesn't know what he is doing.  Maybe they will fix after they get tons of calls

What a bunch of Tech "Malarkey" . Nothing wrong with my Browsers or Equip. All of a sudden they don't work across multiple people and multiple browsers because of  ipv6 ?  What about it Cox? Wanna get it straight and answer our questions please?

They don't even know.  "IPV6 is, like, totally assigned to you or whatever?  uninstall your browser and clear your cookies."  Sure thing dude.   I asked for the information like the IPV6 address and the default gateway and the subnet and he was all like huh?

Yes, same problem in Cheshire, CT.  Can't get to ATT Yahoo mail and many, many other sites.  All 3G devices are working fine, so it's the Cox connection to the internet.

Maybe they'll fix it when everyone decides to cancel Cox and go with ATT

  • Have been unable to connect from about 9AM Sunday onwards in Southington.  I can access certain websites (ESPN/FoxNews), but others I cannot access at all including:  Yahoo.com, SBNation.com, CNN.  I have called Cox 4 times on Sunday and have received the run around each and everytime including someone transferring me to the "McAfee Support Line." If there is some kind of outage affecting outgoing traffic to certain websites, come out and tell us what's going on and what the ETA is instead of leaving customers in the dark. As it stands, I cannot access the website of my consulting business.  I hope Cox is willing to provide a refund for the lost business/money I am losing!  Changing DNS settings didn't help me.  All around terrible customer service experience from Cox, will be switching providers and have started looking into AT&T and others, unless we get some honesty ASAP! Hope you'll follow me.
