Will Cox San Diego include the new FXX network in its lineup?
Will Cox San Diego include the new FXX network in its fall lineup? FXX premieres this September and I need to know whether I need to find another television viewing source. Thank you.

Fox is launching FXX (a new network) on 9/2/13 but an agreement has not been reached for Cox to carry this channel yet. I have submitted a request for the addition of this channel to our programming department in your name.

its amazing to me that Cox has not yet taken care of this. We have so many useless channels, when one comes along that most people are going to want, why is this even a problem?

This whole situation has been more complicated behind-the-scenes than a simple rebranding, as reflected in the conflicting reports that have come out from several sources since late 2012. Carriage negotiations are more tricky than you'd think, and we work hard to protect the value of our cable service.
However, as of July 31, our latest information is this: On August 17, Speed Channel will automatically convert to Fox Sports 1 and Fuel TV will automatically convert to Fox Sports 2. On September 2, Fox Soccer will automatically convert to FXX.
