We don't want you to be upset, what size are the email attachments? Did you receive an error message? We have a 20 MB limit on email messages (total size), if those attachments are too large it will not allow the message to go through.

All e-mail services have attachment size limits. AFAIK, Cox limits e-mails to 20MB total including text and all attachments. That is total size, including overhead encoding the image to text in order to send via e-mail.
With the increase in camera megapixels, images sizes are getting bigger and bigger. It's no longer efficient to send them as e-mail attachments. I put all my photos into cloud storage & send a link anyone I want to share with. Also, I have family members set up as collaborators so we can share images between the family. One link will cover a full album and you don't have to worry about attachment sizes.
As a side note: even though Cox limit is 20MB, Hotmail can only receive 10MB per e-mail. Mail larger than 10MB will be sent by your Cox account but rejected by Hotmail. Gmail and Yahoo mail are a little larger, their limit is 25MB.
