Westinghouse LED TV & Cox remote
Westinghouse LED TV LC4080, cox remote ucr-8820 using code 1712.Remote controls all but input screen comes up but I cannot switch inputs with the up/dowwn arrows,or by repetedly pressing the input button.Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance ,CJ

Have you tried reprogramming the remote to the TV to see if that helps? I am showing the two most common codes for your TV is 0885 & 1577. You can try that code and if it doesn't work, you can revert back to your original code. Let us know if this helps.

There is really no guarantee that you will attain full functional control with the Cox remote. The codes available are limited to those provided by the manufacturer. I found a different code on the Westinghouse website. Have you tried 0178? You can also try contacting Westinghouse directly. You can do so here http://westinghousedigital.com/support/service/ or by calling 1-800-701-0680.
