I'm having problems with the volume setting on the premium channels. Anything above CH 62. The volume goes up and down while I'm watching the channel. Doesn't happen on the lower 3 thru 59 channels. I'm right now watching the St Louis ball game on CH 68 and the volume is coming and going. If I turn it up to hear the program the commercials blow you out of the room. Any of the movie channel are un-watchable due to the volume coming and going. One minute the volume is fine, the next the volume has gone away so you turn it up and you guessed it the next minute the volume blows you out of the room. It has been going on for a few months. It's not the TV, I've changed it to see if it was.

Using your Cox remote, go through the following steps:
(The options in the Audio Settings menu may differ slightly depending on the type of cable receiver you have.)
Let me know if this helps!

Good Day:
I have the New Cisco HD Dvr's in OC S. Ca.
1. How do I get the Audio in Adjustable mode?? The HD channels have wildy different volume levels My former Moto. boxes allowed the adj. video
Ex. Showtime is booming, Epix and Palladia are very low, and P is Music!!! Last night AMC HD was very low also
The video quality of Velocity is terrible, stuttering, glitchy. Checked some friends with Direc and Dish and they look fine.
Thank-you!

The signal levels being reported by your box are well out of specification which may explain a lot of what you're seeing. It might be necessary to arrange for a technician to come out and troubleshoot further.
