vcr and mini box

Hi jazzbo82,

This is possible by connecting coax cable from the wall to the “Cable In” on back of mini box, connect another coax “To TV” on back of mini box to back of VCR then connect HDMI to back of your tv.

I tried this connection scheme, and I wasn't able to record using my VCR.  I should say I was able to make a recording, but the picture was scrambled (fades in and out, changes from color to black&white, etc)..

 Discussion on another thread suggests it's an issue of copy protection being applied to the coax output of the minibox.  Cox Forum Support Moderator Stephanie A reported on 9/23 that this issue has been forwarded to the Video Team for review.  Any news yet from the Video Team?
