Just has a technician install an Explorer 8642HDC with a URC-8820 remote. The remote will turn on the TV and the volume works, I can surf channels up and down, but that is it. None of the other functions work on the remote, ie inputting channels or any of the other buttons. He said he will try to find an answer and get back to me, but I figured that I would try here. He went through two boxes and two remotes, but same problem. Tried swap A, to no avail. The only functions that work is power, volume, and channel up and down.

It was all performed by a COX technician, though it looks like I have gotten it resolved myself, was actually quite simple. Not sure why COX didn't just it. All I did was shut off the power to the box, let is reboot, and everything started working fine.
