Service continues to be unreliable in the SW Phoenix Area. It seems that there is an outage everyday that last for approx. 1hr.
It goes out so often now that I have started keeping a log using Excel. When I call Support I just keep getting the same excuses and nothing gets fixed.
The log shows the same thing everytime the internet connection goes down.

I've also been experiencing the exact same problems as you except my loss of connection happens at many different times of the day and seems to be getting progressively worse. I called customer service and they said there was an outage in my area and a tech was being sent out to check on it. I had to leave for work that morning so I don't know if a tech came out to check on the outage but what I do know is that the signal losses are way more frequent since the "outage in my area".
It's very frustrating because I have a new modem (Motorola SB6121) and a new router and still lose internet connection on a daily basis. I also tried swapping out all old coaxial cables with new ones hoping this might resolve the problem but it didn't.

My Signal Levels are almost perfect. but here is a screenshot of them anyways. When the outage occurs, I check the signal levels and they only change by 1 or 2 dBmV's

I've been having the same problem only mine started this week. Internet has been going down usually between 6PM and 7PM every day. Down for 30 minutes - 1 hour and half. Except for today, went down at 6:00pm and stayed down till 9:30pm...although I did get connection back for a few minutes after 8pm, but quickly went back down. Called internet tech support phone # and just plays hold music without anyone answering. I live in Surprise, AZ. Here's the reading right now as I write this.

Lucky for me I happen to stumble upon an in-house COX Technician that was waiting for someone in there truck. I asked him about the all the service interruption that has been going since the 1st of the month and he politely told me that he was aware of some maintenance work that was going on in the area and had confirmed that he and his team had been getting more service orders for my complex than normal. However he informed me that the maintenance had completed that day, this was on wednesday and my internet hasn't gone down since.
My Feedback for COX is this be honest with your customers. This will reduce the number of time we need to call in. I remember when working at Earthlink we were encouraged to tell our customers if there was maintenance that would be going on for several days in there area. Don't B.S Your Customers and Don't keep secrets from us.
Now I just need to call billing and have my Internet bill adjusted.
For me, this issue is resolved, no thanks to cox tech support.
