Mine is doing the same thing. For the second time since the outage last month. I've contacted tech before about this, I have continued to receive emails late, and I keep getting the same response from tech. Refresh, clear history & cookies, etc. I have done all of this and took it a step farther, uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it but I still have the emails coming in late. I understand things happen, and I have not complained until now. I am not happy at all! I can't get into my email AGAIN. Just get the same error wayjay posted. They obviously didn't get the problem completely fixed. I'm really ready to switch services. I understand, cox provides email services as a "courtesy", but at the prices we have to pay and not even be able to use our email services correctly, why keep cox when I can go back to at&t and be assured I receive all my work related emails in a timely manner! I should not have to use a free email service such as yahoo or google, this is getting ridiculous.
Cox really needs to get it together, I pay a pretty penny to cox for all my services as I am sure all you do to, so you would think they would stay on top of the Webmail so they wouldn't lose the business over it, checking that Webmail is the first thing every morning for me.
It would appear the webmail is down ... again. After the outage earlier this morning (after midnight) of not being able to get into certain websites (Facebook for one), now the webmail is down.
I'm just about ready to switch all email to a free provider. Not being able to access critical emails right now is not good. The thought of having to notify all the important contacts is mind boggling but am going to proceed with it. I realize all email providers have problems at times, but this is ridiculous; especially after the long downtime last month.
I really can't wait for Cox Internet to encounter competition in my town. Cox is bloated, ceaselessly upselling, rate hiking, and totally uncaring towards their customers here. I have a thought, Cox: instead of sending me all this pretty snail mail **, trying to upsell me on your other services, why don't you save that money, and just stop hiking rates. I wouldn't be dropping your services, if you weren't constantly jacking up rates. There's absolutely no way you're ever going to convince me to add more of your services - I'm dying to get rid of the one that I hold on to!
Which brings me to my point: Where's Webmail? Naturally, live chat isn't being manned, either (that would require some dedication to customer service, wouldn't it).
At least have the decency to post that Webmail's been taken offline for maintenance, or something. Cox is so lame.
I am in Hampyon Roads Virginia and no such message is there before I try to log in about technical difficulties. Last time in December the email was down for 4 days. I definitely am looking into switching internet providers.

I did hear that our technical support team was investigating wide spread reports of webmail issues.

Yes - for a "small number" of customers. I just did a live chat with a tech person. Asked them to put up a message before we log in.
