Two modems
Can I setup two modems at my house? I want to use another piece of equipment that doesn't have wifi.

Yes, but you would need to pay for two internet service plans. If you wanted the same speed as your current modem your price would double.
You might be able to hire a electrician to run ethernet to the room. Or use some other technology like Powerline or MoCA. Or buy a wireless adapter. What is the device?
