I have two DVR6 boxes that I would like to use but I am being told that they can not communicate as both host and client of each other without having a third box as a client. As soon as I have this third box as a client supposedly they can then act as I want them to. Make sense?

You should be able to network 2 host DVRs without a client. There could be something about your account or setup that is stopping this process. What model DVRs do you have?

I don't see any icon of a house.
I am trying to record on one box and see that recording / play it from another.
I am told that I should see the other DVR to assign which DVR to record to and see the other DVR to be able to select which DVR and recording to play. I also read that I should be able to name the DVRs .... But in Settings - > Receivers -> DVR Network, "DVR Network" is greyed out and it says "This function is currently not available."
When I run a Receiver Test I get an error for Connectivity Test (Problems Found 10.1.6.4) and under Whole-Home Network Test I get "N/A" and "Receiver is not enabled for Whole Home DVR".

Stephanie is relentless and a rockstar.
Cox - you better do everything you can not to loose her.
ALCON - it turned out to be that first I needed a MoCA filter (picked up from my Cox Solutions Store) and there were also some service codes missing that Stephanie was able to find and fix. Suggest others contact cox.help@cox.com directly to get help.
Thanks Stephanie

MoCA filters aren't needed for MoCA to work, they are installed so the MoCA signal doesn't interfere with other connections. I have a feeling it was something on the back end that was fixed. Maybe the MoCA passwords.
Either way, how does storage work? Do you have the combined recording space of both hard drives?

I was just explaining some things to better define the issue. Filter is good, but it doesn't effect connectivity. Why the hostility?

MoCA filters also reflect this escaping MoCA signal back into the network. This is of importance in Cox's MoCA starved WHDVR systems.
