Tv listing
I like to check the tv listing to see what is on at the moment.
However latley xx seems to be changing the channel that the listing is on. This is occurring hourly and very frustrating to me, as I must do a channels each to find the tv listing. Why the constant change?

This is on the tv channel listing, right at this moment it is channel 84-27780, but in a little it will probably change, very frustrating

What area are you in? We lost the TV Guide channel years ago in my area. Is the channel your looking for in your channel lineup?

I looked through your channel lineup and could not find anything like that. What is the name of the channel? My guess is you have the coaxial connected direct to a TV with a QAM tuner and your picking up a channel Cox isn't meaning to broadcast. Probably why it keeps being moved around.

It is called "tune here for listing information and great offers" I enter channel 84-27780 and on my remote.
this has never happened until just a few weeks ago. I have been a customer for years

You entering in a non Cox channel. If it's not in your channel line up, you are not supposed to get it. Your TV is picking up channels which are on the cable, but not part of the lineup. It is kind of like how your radio can pick up TV station audio, even though no radio station is broadcasting it. The reason it just started acting up is probably Cox is cleaning up the channel mapping to get ready for the encryption transition.
Sorry, wish I had a better suggestion, but I think you were getting something by chance, and now it is "fixed".

Huh? WHERE are you seeing this "84-27780" ? What channel is it for? What is the URL of this listing? What equipment are you using?
