TV Channel Apps

You should still be able to access USA, HGTV, and TBS through the Cox TV Connect app. Click HERE for a list of available channels.

Are you trying to access these channels by first logging in to the Cox TV Connect app, or are you accessing each channel's website or app individually? I am able to log into the WATCH TBS app on my iPhone and view full episodes of different shows.

I'm not familiar with the HGTV app, and I don't see it on our list of supported Cox TV Online apps. View the current list of supported apps HERE.

Yes, accessing each channel individually.  Actually I was referring to the iPhone Apps... USA Now and  HGTV Watch and Lifetime still do not show COX in the providers list.  The TNT and TBS app have Cox in the list of providers.  Sorry about the misinformation.

The Cox TV connect app does not allow one to watch episodes outside the home network and I am outside my home network.

I am having the same issue.  Would really like to see this resolved.  Haven't been able to get an answer on this problem.

I have emailed USA and HGTV... we'll see what happens...

We do not yet support the USA and HGTV iPhone apps, so that's why we aren't listed as providers.

Programming distribution rights currently limit the viewing of Cox TV Connect content to your home network only. We are continuously working with broadcast networks to expand the features and abilities of the Cox TV Connect app! We are also working to expand the number of individual broadcasting network apps (like USA Now and HGTV Watch) that we support. 

You can continue to watch USA, HGTV, and TBS through Cox TV  Connect! To access Cox TV Connect, follow the steps HERE.

This is unfortunate.  It is not just the iPhone apps affected.  I can no longer watch USA programming that I pay for with Cox on the USA website.  COX is not listed.  This was not always the case and I want to watch these channels when I am not home.... That is the point.
