Timers
Since I have had the new contour box installed when I set a timer for a movie I want to watch. It will not flip over to that channel. If I am not sitting in front of the TV paying attention, the timer box comes up and if I don't press select within 60 seconds, it does not change. My old box flipped the channel for me. I do not like this.

You are doing something wrong. Please describe how you schedule a program for recording.

This is a great suggestion! I've submitted your request to our Contour software team for consideration in future software upgrades.
I usually set up both a reminder and set the program I want to watch to record. That way, if I miss the reminder, I can still see the show from the beginning and I don't miss a thing!
