Did Cox have a survey on Jan 9, offering a $5 gift card in exchange?

It is very possible that the survey offer you received was valid. Cox will often send emails to customers, offering $5 Amazon gift cards in exchange for answering a short survey. Usually, the last page of the survey will provide you with a code to redeem on Amazon.

Further, to my previous posts: About a year ago, I took a survey and then received an email with the access code for a gift card a short time later, hence, my query regarding the Jan 9 survey.

I believe we switched to a different marketing company at some point over the past year, so I'm not positive if the gift card code is provided at the end of the survey or in an email following the survey.

Did you receive an email on January 9th?

I did not receive an email.  The only information that I saw was contained in the original invite for the survey; I believe it was an email with a statement indicating that I would receive a gift card within 14 days of survey completion.

Hi isthistrue, check your spam folder to see if a reply email was sent and ended up in that folder.

Unfortunately without having the original email we are unable to link you back to the survey. Have you checked the "Trash" or "Deleted Items" folder as well?

I have check all of my folders with no luck.

If the survey was legit, I have apparently assumed incorrectly that my participation can be traced by the card issuer.
