SURFboard® SBG6782-AC randomly cuts internet to all users wired or wireless
so thats it. its been happening for a while. the basic unplug for 10sec to a minute does not fix. i also recently did a factory reset from logging into the ip address and that (surprisingly) got me back to to my paid for speeds (100Mb/s Down). but the random drops still happen.
Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.
i already called cox and they reset the internet from their end and also said their logs are showing no errors. and then suggested to call motorola/aris
he table below contains the log of events that the SBG6782-AC has detected. This log can be important to the service provider to help diagnose and correct problems, if any should occur.

Looks like it lost the downstream for a minuet or two, but happen twice, once before the reset, and once after, That's the 3 T4 timeouts in several minuets. What are your signal levels? My guess is a problem with the downstream SNR.
I don't know why Cox would not have seen these errors.

does this help?
The statuses listed show the connection state of the cable modem contained within the SBG6782-AC. They are used by your service provider to evaluate the operation of the cable modem.

Wow, that signal is great too. Only thing unusual is a low upstream, but unless there's a problem with the upstream SNR, that shouldn't be a problem. Maybe a moderator can see something we can't?

The transmit power levels being reported by your modem are a bit below our minimum specification which is something we would want to have a technician come out and take a look at. I'd also check to see if you're seeing the random connection drops with wired connections or just wireless. That could indicate another problem taking place.
