Shows ending early

It  seems like the clock on our DVR is out of wack.  Many, many shows are ending just before the end of the show.  There may be 30 seconds or so left of the show but we can't see that last 30 seconds.  Very frustrating.

I have the same problem. I think it is so the stations can stuff in more commercials. I have set my DVR to record an extra minute on some shows. It isn't always possible depending on if I have shows recording in that slot.

It sounds to me like this is what commonly happens due to different networks all keeping time differently.  You an in the recording options set your recordings add extra time to the beginning or end to compensate for this.

As seen in the above comment-I have added an extra minute where I can.  I do record many shows and I don't always watch them in the order they are programmed.  

This happens so often I would like to be able to change my record clock back just a minute.

At this time there is no feature to manually adjust the clock.  Note that changing the clock would result in other channels being then time skewed.
