Science HD Channel 1101 & a hockey Channel

Question

These two channels in particular were removed from my signal without any given reason around Thanksgiving - At first i thought it was just a cable malfunction - later i was told these were now premium channels and to get them i needed to pay an additional $10.00 /month - anyone else experience this problem?
