Scam popup from showcyber.com on google chrome/iphone

This morning at 6:53 I received a pop-up in my Chrome browser on my iPhone in a white box with the following message:

www.showcyber.com

says:

Congratulations Cox 

Communications Customer!

Your iPhone has been randomly

selected to receive a $1000

Gift Card!

OK

There was no option to close the box or decline the supposed offer, or even close the window. I had to delete the Chrome app and reinstall it. has anyone else had this experience?
