Hi,
On Friday I started having problems with my SB6120 going on and off line, so on Saturday I picked up a new SB6141 before the Cox tech came out just in case the 6120 is bad. The tech checked all connections and signal strength and said all is good, but he said that the new 6141 is bad, so we reinstalled the 6120. the internet came back up but I noticed that the modem upload LED was still green and should be blue indicating that the upload channel is bonded. I ran speed test several times and got good download speed but the upload test would fail. Also, when browsing it can get very very slow at times, like I said this all started Friday, before then I have had no issues. Not sure what is going on? Could the modem still be a problem?
Steve

I believe you should have at least two bonded channels, not sure if we've enabled three or four there.
But it looks like your service call was one of several that triggered some maintenance activity in your node that is still going on today. Average TX appears to be medium-high (48.1-52.0) to way-high (52.1-58.0) on several streets, and the modem's not going to bond if it can't keep power levels in check.
I'll take another look once I see the ticket is closed out, which should be later tonight barring unforeseen issues.

Hello,
I have the Motorola SB6120, as well, and I just started having upload problems, too. 0.0 - 0.5 Mbps! I've had this modem for years and this problem just started on Friday, so it's not you, Steve. I hope Cox addresses this issue very soon. Browsing is not good... not good at all...

It's 5/1 and we're still having issues, so am I right in assuming that the ticket is not closed out?

That was just for Steve's specific node, and I'm showing the TX levels there are back to a more normal range, and he has 4 upstream channels now.
You're in a different area entirely, and I'm not seeing any obvious issues with your signal levels, yet we're still getting at least 10% packet loss when pinging the modem directly, so there's a different problem here.
It appears you may not be the only one in your area with this issue, but I can't yet say for certain. There are no open tickets, but I'm checking with our ops people in your system now to see if there's anything going on there.

Update: It wasn't just you. Just got word back from the SOC that there was a source of upstream noise, but it has been dealt with, and now I'm not reading any packet loss on your modem. Let me know how it goes now.
