Record 6 (AKA Cisco Explorer 9800) connection via YPbPr (not HDMI)
Hello,
Can the new Record 6 Cisco 9800 connect via YPbPr? The Cisco specs say "yes" but a Cox tech told me HDMI only. This is an issue for us because we have an older Toshiba HDTV without HDMI.

Hmm...a "Cox tech" giving out false information? How unusual. Go to:

Rear panel clearly shows YPbPr terminals. Table 3 clearly lists YPbPr. I'd trust Cisco over the Cox dude.

HDMI is definitely the preferred way to go, but the specifications are correct on this. The Record 6 test unit in our training room is connected by component cables.
