Programming a universal remote

It looks like you have the Record 6 (6-tuner) DVR host, which is a Cisco 9865HDC, and your client receiver is a Cisco 4742HDC. They should both use the same set of codes in any 3rd-party remote programming, and will also be compatible with 8742HDC, 8642HDC, 4642HDC, and 1642HDC.
They may also be similar to other Cisco and Scientific Atlanta codes (such as 8240HDC, 8300HD, etc.), but will have at least one extra button (green diamond) that older units lack.

The model number is on the far left just above the power switch on the 9865HDC and 8742HDC.
