How do I access the area where I put in the Ports numbers?

The area is your firewall(s). For example, McAfee-->Firewall-->Settings-->Internet Connections for Programs-->Add.
Be careful opening ports because you may leave your computer vulnerable to attacks. Certain Trojans look for certain ports.

What are you trying to do exactly. Forward a port? Trigger a port? Block a port? Also what is your modem and router model number? Should be on a sticker somewhere on them. I will have more specific instructions after that.
