I just converted from 3 motorola DVR boxes to 3 trio boxes. All problems duplicated on the 3 of them.
It's nice to have the large capacity but trio makes it a problem.
1. DVR List always takes you to the beginning of the list which may contain 100+, some of which may be buried in a series (NOVA).
2. While watching a NOVA show (1 of 5), hit PAUSE and answer the phone or go fix breakfast.
15 minutes after hitting PAUSE, it will exit the recording, and start blasting with some other not recorded show. Often the COX channel, interrupting the telephone call.
To make this worse, after you get back to the TV, you have to use DVR List to find your show and restart it. Since DVR List always starts at the beginning of the list, you have to browse down who knows how far, browse down into NOVA, and search through the descriptions to try and find the one you were watching.
Very not user friendly.

Hi RedRider,
There are two ways to display the DVR list. You can have it Group Titles or Ungroup Titles and you can change the display by hitting the blue square button with the letter B.
What button are you hitting to exit the recording?

Hi
I'm not exiting the movie, I'm using the white vertical equal sign button (pause) between the fast forward and reverse buttons.
I don't want to exit the recording because then when I hit DVR List button to get back to it, I have many pages of movie lists to wade through to restart it.
The Old Motorola DVR worked much better with it's DVR List. It always remembered where you were last so it was easy to get back to what you were watching. Contour always makes you start at the beginning of the recorded list. Extremely annoying since with the higher capacity, the number of recordings is much higher. More to wade through to get back to your movie.
This gets worse and worse the bigger your collection of movies gets.

I see. I can submit your suggestion to our Product Team for a possible future update. Just to make sure I understand, the pause feature is kicking you out of your recording after 15 or so minutes instead of changing over to a screen saver mode?

Add me to the list of people who would like to see an option to view the list of recorded programs alphabetically. It is a real pain to find anything.

Yes! I find that quite annoying as well....No screen saver, just live TV... And if it's been quiet (since you paused) when it blares back on it's very startling.
