Is anyone else having this problem? On September 25, 2015 I reported to Cox that I could not access my outgoing call history via phone tools. They created a ticket and certainly the problem would be resolved within 24-48 hours. Since that time they have created three separate tickets and each one of those has been "escalated"– Whatever that means. Every single day for the last 17 straight days I have been told, "24 more hours," and every day I find that it still doesn't work. 11 days ago I got a call back (finally) From a representative who was very nice and told me that the problem would be fixed by the end of the day. She also personally certain that she would call me at the end of the day to make sure it was working. Guess what? She didn't call. And I still cannot access my outgoing calls. What is the problem here?

That's called a runaround. It's a delaying action in response to a request.

LOL, no kidding. It's so ridiculous how many times I've had to contact these people that I started saving my chat history, I think I have something like 25 different chat conversations – Mostly because they kept telling me to contact them a little bit later if it wasn't working. Of course it's never worked. And it's funny because every single representative tries to give me the same canned line and in the same order. First the problem needs to be "escalated" and they assure me that they have just "escalated" it. But then I tell them that I am already familiar with the term "escalated" and I know that the ticket has already been escalated...That's when they start to tell me that it's gone to a superior department. I got fed up and I sent an email to Cox support and attached all 25 chat history. It was a polite email simply asking for something to look at the problem, and nobody has even bother to respond acknowledging they received it.

Apparently my voice recognition software apparently is not up to the task tonight.

The call history should be available at this time. Please try again and if it's not working, clear your cookie and cache.

Its been another three days and still the problem with my call history is not fixed. I called the help line today and spoke to a representative who told me that the most she could do would be to "escalate" the ticket, but that's ben done half a dozen times already. I've been waiting 20 days just to see my outgoing call history, how is this possible? I feel like i am banging my head against the wall here. Is this kind of turnaround time normal?

Our Test Desk team has a ticket to investigate the outgoing caller id history not displaying to Phone Tools. Our Test Desk team will contact you by phone after the ticket has been addressed. If the call is missed, the assigned agent will leave a message if there is room available to do so.

Hey jenfitzpd,
Sorry to hear this has yet to be corrected for you. The ticket is still actively being worked on.

I'd demand a hefty credit on my next bill, at the very least.

I called cox today, waited on hold for a very long time only to be told that the ticket had not actually been assigned to anyone yet. How is that possible? Today is the 25th day I've been waiting for this problem to be fixed. What can I do to get you guys to fix this problem?

Day 26 since reporting that i cannot access outgoing call history. I just got off the phone with technical support, (because chat-help says they are no longer involved in the issue and cannnot answer any of my questions, including simply "what's the status?"). The tech support guy went through the notes and told me he can see i originally reported the matter on September 25th, and that the current work ticket was created at the tier 2 level on October 16th, and that the most recent notes say that I have been waiting for a call from the tech people since last friday. He told me nothing has been done to try to resolve the situation. Nobody is working on it.
PLEASE TELL ME WHO I AM SUPPOSED TO CONTACT.

When I worked with interconnect companies in Oregon, one thing telco's hated to hear about was PUC (Public Utilities Commision) complaints being filed. Don't know what state you're in, but they should all be about the same. Give Cox 24 hours to resolve or tell them you'll file a PUC complaint.

Now that is the best idea I have heard in a long time. File a complaint with the public utilities commission… Thank you so much for the suggestion. Because for 26 days I have been repeatedly assured that they are working on it in the matter will be resolved "within 24 hours" But that resolution still has not come. When I spoke to a representative last night, he told me That just yesterday a technician had unilaterally determined that the issue had been resolved – it had finally been fixed! So there is no longer any pending ticket, they're not trying to resolve the problem anymore because they fixed it. Unfortunately, nobody checked with me to see if it had actually been fixed because it has not. When I explain that to the representative on the phone last night, he told me that he was "sorry for the inconvenience this has caused" but he would be happy to create a new ticket.
In short, I have to start all over again.

I will email you the information you've requested, thank you. Just FYI, about 2 weeks ago I did send an email to this very same email address, and I included all the information you are currently instructing me to include. I also went ahead and attached all the chat logs That I had saved from each and every time that I tried to resolve the problem via chat help online… And at the time I sent the email I think I was already up to about 30 different chat sessions.
At this point, there's no question that Cox has no intention of resolving this problem; what is frustrating and, quite frankly insulting, is that if they had no intention of resolving the issue they should've told me right at the beginning rather than waste my time feigning concern. I've spent countless hours on the phone and online and nothing has been done.
