I hooked up minibox to tv using hdmi cable. I do not get channels 3, 5, 8, 23, and 25, which were the old analog stations. Every others cable channel works. Error says channel not available. I did channel scan, rebooted, tried direct cable instead of hdmi. Nothing seems to work. Anyone else having this problem?

It's possible that the mini box doesn't think it has the correct authorization yet. We should be able to fix this by sending a reset signal to the mini box. Have you spoken to anyone in Technical Support about this? I don't want to repeat steps that we've already tried.

Yes. Talked on phone to tech. He rest, I did channel scan, reboot. I was wondering if the coax cable coming from the wall might not handle the digital format?? It's very old cable from20 years ago. Would think it would affect all channels, not just the old local UHF channels.

I may try connecting minibox to main TV that is connected to the DVR and see if that works. That coax was installed new with the DVR. At least if that works I know it is not the minibox.

The mini box does have simple diagnostics: menu > customer support > technical support > minibox information. At the bottom of the page should be a RF reading. When it is connected to the outlet you want to use, what are the levels?
