I installed my mini boxes but not getting all my channels. I'm subscribed to TV Economy but not getting all channels. For example, I can't get CNN (14) on the mini box. I ran the channel scan but still no go. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

The mini-box does not receive the "Economy" tier. If you want CNN with the mini-box, you must subscribe to the "Essential" tier.

Thanks. According to Cox website CNN is part of both Essential and Economy. I get CNN on the TV with the regular HD box, just not on the TV with the mini box. Are you suggesting I need to downgrade my service from Economy to Essential? Seems odd.

Going from Economy to Essential is a "downgrade" ?? How so?

Looking at Cox website, Essential is 50 channels and Economy is 155 channels. It seems the Economy package includes most of the Essential channels, including CNN (14).

Cox TV Economy includes a variety of channels ranging across video service levels, as well as access to PPV and a handful of networks within the On DEMAND library. Since the mini box is a one-way receiver and cannot be configured for all of these services, the TV Economy channel lineup will not work correctly using a mini box. In order to have access to the features and channels within TV Economy, an additional Advanced TV receiver is necessary. I apologize that we didn't explain this when you ordered your mini box!

Yes, CNN is available via the mini box lineup when you subscribe to the TV Essential package. This channel lineup might help to better define the package for you: http://media.cox.com/support/print_media/tv/cls/california/cl_orangecounty.pdf. You will receive all of the TV Starter and TV Essential channels as shown. The exceptions are a handful of channels that are marked with an asterisk (*) or a triangle. I hope this helps!

Looking at the URL Becky gave, your numbers are incorrect.

When is Cox going to fix the numbers? Another confused customer. Do I need to file an FCC Complaint?
