Not getting 50 Mbps download at Premier Tier
Hi,
i have the Motorola Sb6141 modem with Apple Airport Extreme router and the download speed on wired connection is only at approx 32 Mbps. I ran the speed test both with Cox speed test tool and at speedtest.net. I recently upgraded to Premier 50 Mbps tier and would like to have the download speed 50 Mbps. Please help.

Hi Wanderer88,
I can take a look at the account to make sure you have all of the proper codes. When you upgraded your modem you may not have the correct info listed on the account to allow you to achieve those speeds. Can you email the account information to cox.help@cox.com? We would need the name and address to pull up your account. Thanks!

Cox technical support rep enabled DOCSIS 3.0 for account and I'm now seeing download 55.30 Mbps, 20.6 Mbps upload on wired laptop. Great tech support. Thank you!
