Arris SB6190 modem, Windows 7 x64. Ultimate Tier 200/20. Roanoke County - Virginia
Signal levels are all good on the modem just half the speed + packet loss/latency in video games during peak hours 5/6pm - 10/12pm after that the speeds return to normal. I can still watch netflix, browse, and do general things at half the speed sometimes lower like 60mb. Playing any sort of video games that require low latency is out of the question.
Nothing running in the background like netflix or any other streaming services, etc.
Scanned computer for malware/viruses with eset - nothing.
Tried direct connect from modem no router in-between same results.

Reopening my old thread since I cannot get a clear date of my node split. First was by march the 30th then April 30th. Every single night I sit around 15mb down with high latency and can barely watch basic low definition youtube videos. When summer hits the internet will be totally unusable since it's been confirmed a node split is needed.
I'm connected directly to my internet with a Cat 6A ethernet cable. Believe me I've been through all the steps over and over. I see most areas have been upgraded to 16 downstream channels while the roanoke area remains at 12 down stream channels.

Hey Norman,
The picture from your second post is not showing up. Can you try sending it again?

It was just a picture of my modem levels. Which you can see from your end. I just want a status update on the node split.
Every night my internet comes to a crawl from 200down to 15 down with latency spiking to 3000.

Can I get the master ticket # + any notes on my account relating to the node split like work orders, ETA, maintenance, etc? So I know an actual node split is planned. I'm getting really tired of the pr spin and march 31st then april 30th, now may 31st. I want a direct answer for once.

Now I'm paying for 200/20 and this is the speed I'm getting during peak hours. I had another technician come out yesterday who stated there was a "glitch" in the process of the node split. He also said all the wires were fine on the outside and inside.

It seems like a common problem 4 am the download rate is 60-66 mb/s 5pm-9pm it can crash all the way down to 12-15 mb/s. This was not the case 2 years ago when I signed up. It never dropped below 30mb/s. What is the process for getting a node split? Google is coming Scottsdale is that my only hope?

Banging your head against the wall to support, exec, local field techs to get a reply back. I've been blacklisted.(?) They've stated multiple times a node split was needed. I just want the work number or ticket number that shows the node split is actually going to happen instead of pr spin.
What finally got them to acknowledge what I needed was a node split was filing a BBB complaint and a FCC complaint.
Good luck - And yeah if you have another ISP that can compete to switch through in the future do it without thought.

I looked at your connection from this end however no obvious issues stand out. Can you try testing your speeds with a wired connection and see if that works? -Chris

Are you talking to me? If so a few things needed to be checked locally that they haven't done yet.

First two Images are from the BBB with a message from Cox executive resolution team stating a node split was needed. Last three images are Emails stating a node split is in the process of being done.
Now Why is it when I call tier 1 and Tier 2 (2 Times) yesterday all three individuals say there is no notes about a node split. Not one technician has put in a ESR. No notes even about slow speed.
