NO 1080p INDICATION ON TV FROM CONTOUR HD CHANNELS
Why am I not getting a "1080p" indication when watching any HD channel from my Contour HD whole home DVR? The screen indicates "1080i", even though it is a Vizio 4K Ultra HD TV. If I stream a movie from Amazon, for example, I get a "1080p" indication at the top of the TV screen. Does anyone know why this is happening? My Contour HD DVR only shows a "1080i" choice under Settings.

Which version of Contour do you have? The original Contour only has 1080i output. Contour 2 may have 1080p output, not sure as I'm still using the original.

Calm down...everything is okay. No networks broadcast in 1080p. The only 1080p content available is on the Internet or Blu-ray.
