New Digital Box
I just found out I will have to rent a box for each one of my TVs to receive the all digital signal from cable. Why do I need this if my new TVs are all digital? When I scanned each TV for channels, the TV finds 74 analog and 34 digital channels. Is this a descrambler box and can I purchase one instead of paying rent for the rest of my life?

Jay I have the same problem.. They could easily have a system setup that would be compatible with our digital TVs, this is all designed to make all of us pay more $.. Which I will not do..

I left Direct TV because i enjoyed having cable without the need of a box. I do have two HD DVR(s) boxes in my home and 6 other TV(s) without boxes. I think I am going back to Direct TV. Again, 2.99 x 6 tv's yeah, they know what they are doing.
