my cox box

the lights on my cox box were all on, then they started blinking on & off every few seconds. NOW they are off & will not come on, even after unplugging the box.  Does not respond to remote & I was directed to power on without remote but my box does not seem to have any buttons.  It does have icons for power so I touched it thinking it might be a touch screen thing.  need assistance
