How is it connected.  If it's via WiFi, just turn it off, unplug it and bring it to new location.  If it's wired, you will have to do one of three options:

1. Leave the modem where it is and run a long ethernet cable from the modem to the new location.
2. If there is a cable outlet at the new location, move the modem also and connect to the cable in the new location.
3. Convert to WiFi, maybe you will have to buy a WiFi adapter for the computer if it doesn't have one.
