Motorola Tuning Adapter Wont Pair with Tivo Roamio Plus

Here is a link to a past posting which I am unable to find in this forum strangely enough which was the same problem I was having. http://forums.cox.com/forum_home/tv_forum/f/4/t/7453.aspx I would like to preface this with the fact that all the phone support people and the technicians did a great job in trying to solve the problem. The only improvement I would have liked to see was for them earlier on in the process to have given more weight to the fact that TiVo box was saying that there was a problem with the firmware and the security certificate and that the firmware needed to be updated to the latest version. I brought this to the attention of 2 of the 4 phone support people and to the attention of 2 contractors and 2 cox technicians. It wasn't until the 4th service call that the technician brought up the subject to the phone support person. The phone support person didn't know anything about it and the phone call was ended. 10 minutes later the TiVo box rebooted on its own and the MTR700 tuning adapter, after 48 hours and multiple hits went from a blinking yellow light to a solid yellow light and at that point all my problems were solved. This is speculation on my part and the technician did not call her back in my presence but im thinking she went and asked someone and a firmware update was done as the TiVo box suggested all along. To sum up: 4 service calls, 3 new card adapters, 3 new tuning adapters, new cable, and countless hours on the phone. Again speculation, but feel like cox wasted a lot of their time and money and lot of my time and money by not pursuing the original error message. I would like to add that all the service calls were on time with the exception of one and on that one I got regular updates on the delay and also got a phone call 10-15 minutes before each tech arrived. I wasn't charged for any of the service calls and was given partial credit for the downtime. Much appreciated.
