Modem replacement

That applies to our customers who are renting a WiFi modem, or those customers who have a Docsis 2.0 Telephony modem for their Cox Phone and Internet. Those customers may swap the Docsis 2.0 modems for the Docsis 3.0 Wifi, Telephony, or Gateway modems that are carried at the solution stores. For our customers who aren't renting, we recommend those customers purchase a preferred modem (found in the link below) or rent from our solution store. As we prepare for iPV6, and customers are using more at-home wireless devices we recommend our customers that have a Docsis 2.0 modem make the change to a Docsis 3.0.
