Hey,
So I've been using an SB 5101 with Cox internet for a few months without issue. Just yesterday my modem began rebooting every minute or so and doing anything online is near impossible. The upstream power is at 54 dBmV and here's a representative sample from the modem log. I'm in an apartment complex, so I'm guessing Cox fiddled around with something and messed up the connection?

If your upstream power level is 54, thats your problem. Should be below 50, with anything above 52 is pushing it. See here for more info on signal levels.
Do you know anything about the cable wiring outside the apartment and inside? Usually in older apartments the cable is set up in "daisy-chain" configuration which works well for TV's but can cause problems with internet modems. All those extra splits cause higher resistance on the return path, and thus higher upstream power level.
Also, the SB5101 is pretty old, but it sounds like you just got it? Is it second hand? Or maybe you mean SB5101U?
