MOCA

I upgraded to contour boxes and DVR a while back and had been using Actiontec MOCA adapters to get Ethernet access at each coaxial cable. These did not work with the new contour boxes. So I purchased the new docsis 3 Motorola modem with MOCA built in and adapters and only the one I have at my DVR connection works, I cannot seem to find anyone who knows how to configure these from tech support. I pay for ultimate internet so MOCA is the only way to receive the highest speeds at every coax cable. I would rather not hardwire my entire home as it is already wired with coax..I know the contour boxes use MOCA to communicate with one another,, I just cant find anyone who knows how to setup and configure the adapters so that they do not cause interference with the tv. Arris said the MOCA adapters should not cause a problem but when a cox technician comes out they do not even know what MOCA is and blame everything on the adapters. So I do not understand why COX is on the board of the MOCA alliance, recommends a modem with MOCA capability , yet does not have support for it. Wireless is just not as fast and MOCA is the best way to hook up your smart tv, blue ray xbox etc..can anyone help me?

Hello Frodo11,

We do not support creating or troubleshooting MOCA networks outside of the Contour whole home system. I apologize for this inconvenience.
