MiniBox Error code m.3.1.4
So the not working minibox yesterday decided to work today without any adjustments to wiring. Now we have error code m.3.1.4 for following stations that will not come in and displays that error code instead. These are the stations...

After that I stopped going channel by channel and decided to come here. Any thoughts? Our regular cable box in the front room is getting those stations without the error code. It is just the minibox with this issue.

I called customer service and they advised to get another box because something must be wrong with the first. Just activated new box and surprise.....SAME issue. So now I will email cox for help. Anyone reading this in Louisiana...Are you having the same issues with those channels and the mini box?

I have had the same issue today and last Saturday (both days where I wanted to watch sports on BROADCAST television) where the majority of channels I wanted to watch (local stations, ESPN, etc.) were unavailable with error code M.3.1.4 (which none of the techinical support jabronis I spoke with on the phone had any idea what it referred to) while trash channels like E! and Bravo came in crystal clear. I want to know what the heck is happening, though I am not holding my breath for an answer as I will be canceling my TV service ASAP.

If you're getting the 3.1.4 on some channels, I'd recommend unplugging the power and verify there aren't loose fittings to the coax connections. To troubleshoot if the picture improves, I'd recommend bypassing any splitters connected to the coax between the Mini Box and the wall. Lastly, reconnect the power to the box and allow a reboot to complete. Please update us on your findings, but if there isn't a change, we'd recommend a service technician.

Made the change. Now I can watch ESPN but no broadcast channels (CBS, FOX). Why are you jabronis blocking regular tv on my cable?

I believe I was able to locate your account. I see we've refreshed the box. Have you tried running a channel scan? If you're still receiving an error message, I recommend scheduling a tech.
