I check our end and it does appear we've flagged your account as having had activity of this virus being on your Internet connection. If you use any peer to peer file sharing software that may very well have been the entry point. Note that we have no way to know form our end which device using your Internet connection might be infected. The steps provided in the email may help however I would not rule out the possibility of having to reformat the hard drive and reinstall software from scratch to eliminate the threat on the infected system. Once we stop seeing evidence of Internet traffic generated by the virus the browser notifications will go away.

Do you only have OSX computers? Any Windows based PC or even Android devices on your network couple be possibly affected. Since Cox only tracks the data by the IP they give your modem, any traffic on your network may be the culprit. For this reason you may also want to check to make sure your wireless router is secured. If the network is not secured with a password, then anyone around you might be connecting to your network with a infected computer.
If all your devices are OSX and you have check your network (or don't have one) then it could have be a false negative. Do you have legitimate reason to go to ezdownloadpro? (Not including entire link for security reasons). There is a good thread over on the Apple forums about it.
