what has there been no progress on the "latency speed test error" message  The problem has existed for months.

Hi stonewall, can you provide some additional information about the issue that you are experiencing? Are you getting this error with a specific application?

Michael, I first reported it back in October and it's still broken.  At least in my market (CT).  There is a whole thread about the issue here: http://forums.cox.com/forum_home/internet_forum/f/5/t/6994.aspx

I'm referring to the speed test on the Cox site here: https://myaccount.cox.net/internettools/speedcheck/speedcheck.cox  It times out during the latency test.  We've been told the problem has been turned over to network services but no ETA on a fix is available.  It's only been an outstanding issue for 3 1/2 months.

still having issues.  I'm convinced Cox claimed speeds are exaggerated and this is their cover-up.

Must be an area-specific issue..? I have never had an issue checking my speed through the My Connection - Speed Check tool. I upgraded to the Ultimate speed in November and had Premier prior to that.
