Java stops Email forwarding

I'm using Cox email. When I try to forward any email a gray screen appears and says to activate Java. When I activate Java it says the application does not have a current certificate. Tried to change the format to PLAIN but then I lose the entire body of the email I'm trying to forward. How do I forward an email?
