If you want to fully synchronize email between mobile devices and a home desktop and/or laptop use IMAP.
http://www.cox.com/residential/support/tv/article.cox?articleId=db0c9270-b1d9-11e2-d072-000000000000
Read the whole article and note the section "Switching from POP to IMAP".
FWIW we use IMAP to fully sync email between two iPhones, an iPad, a Win 7 desktop and a Win 8.1 laptop. Both the desktop and laptop use Outlook 2010 as their email client

Instead of using IMAP I used Pop3 . Entered all the details on my cell phone so I could send pictures from my phone to my computer and my emails from the net went to my LG Cell phone (not a smart phone) but I still couldn't send pictures from my phone to my email address.
I do not want to receive my emails on my cell phone. Just send pictures from phone to my email address. I deleted my email address and all info. on my cell phone. Is there a way just to send the pictures ??
