So when I first got my xbox one and did speed test through the console I was getting 100+ DL 20+ upload. I have the premium service so I was happy all is good. In the last few months I have more drops from games my latency is higher on the xbox. When I do tests from my PC all is good? Are they throttling specific services now? If that is BS since I am paying for the top tier....

Are you experiencing any abnormal lag or problems playing? Any NAT issues? Im pretty sure the issue with DOCSIS 3.0 modems (and some say IPv6) and the speed test is not service effecting. Another words its saying your connection is worst then it actually is. This is supported by the fact that you say your having no issues with the PC connection. Its also possible that as more people get Xbox One's and run that test, the server(s) become more overloaded and less accurate. Cox wouldn't have much need to throttle Xbox traffic, since compared to Netflix and Youtube, its a very small piece of the pie.

...and that's another thing. Netflix quality is horrible 90% of the time. I just moved to a Cox only cable provider area, from a Time Warner only cable provider area, and the difference in my Netflix quality has been nauseating. I kept the same tier equivalent, and when I was with Time Warner, I would get "maybe" 15 seconds of degraded video, then it would buffer up the HD and remain cable channel HD quality throughout the duration of the show/movie. Watching Netflix now, I get 30 seconds to 5 minutes of HD quality video, then it degrades down to almost unwatchable. Occasionally I forget that I have my contacts in because of the blurriness until I look away fro the TV. Checking the line quality shows me right in-line with "good" to "excellent" levels... (D-Pwr Channels 1-8 = -0.1 to -2.4) (D-SNR Channels 1-8 = 37.9 to 35.3) (U-Pwr Cannels 1-4 = 39.7 to 34.9).
