Is Cox going to offer Fox Sports 1?

Fox Sports 1 will replace Speed.  Check the bottom of your monthly statement for any channel change notifications.

Chris, I checked my bill.  It says that on 8/17/13 that Fox Sports 2 will replace Fuel TV at channel 140.  You said that Fox Sports 1 will replace Speed, which is channel 1085.  My bill makes no mention of this.

Can you please verify this and tell me specifically what channel Fox Sports 1 will be on?

From the San Diego Union Tribune Legal section:

"Cox Communications announces the following change to the channel lineup in our San Diego North and South service areas: effective on or about August 17, 2013, Speed (ch. 67/1067) will convert to Fox Sports 1(FS1) and Fuel TV (ch. 315) will convert to Fox Sports 2(FS2). On or about September 2, 2013 Fox Soccer Channel (ch. 326/1326) will convert to FXX. Televisions and other consumer owned devices equipped with a CableCARD may require a two way capable device or digital receiver in order to receive all programming options offered by Cox. pub 8/03/13."

I live in Northern Virginia, and obviously channel numbers are different. I am assuming Cox is doing this channel change across the country, and not simply in a few areas.

Yes Fox Sports 2 is replacing Fuel TV as well.

There has not been anything new concerning BeiN Sports but I will make sure a request is put in for you on it.

In Las Vegas, Fuel TV is only offered in SD.  Once Fox Sports 2 debuts, will Cox add the HD channel?

Also, we only get the SD feed of Fox Soccer Channel.  Once FXX debuts, will Cox add this one to the HD lineup?
