iPhone 5 won't remain connected to Wifi network

My problem just started yesterday and I have made no changes whatsoever to my network settings on either my phone or my router. The issue that I'm having is that my phone will connect BRIEFLY to the network if I've done the following: 1) reset or unplug the router 2) gotten lucky enough to be able to join the network which lasts no more that 1-2 minutes I have done a complete restore on my phone to factory settings and I have reset network settings numerous times to no avail. I have confirmed beyond any shadow of a doubt that the problem is not an issue with any defect in my phone's hardware as I am able to connect and remain connected to other wifi networks For example the network at my place of employment and my brother's wifi network.

What kind of router do you have? Sounds like maybe there?

All other devices connected to the router: Samsung blu ray player hard wired and Denon AVR1912 hardwired have no connectivity issues. My laptop connected via wifi will occasionally lose connection to the wifi network. I am using the cisco dpc3825. My phone will display the icon that I am connected to the network occasionally yet will not allow any data transmission.

Hello TiffanyR, I have attempted to cycle through every channel it did nothing to aid the situation. Should I bring the router back to Cox for a replacement or is there something that I can try?
