Internet speed slow after 6pm.

Tucson central location my internet gets very slow after 6pm and lasts until 7am the next day. This has been going on since the beginning of January. If I reboot my system after 7am everything seems to work fine. What seems to be the problem? I suspect Cox lowers their speeds by half during that time. I am tired of spending quality money for poor service.
