Internet problems

Hi there.  I am having the exact same problem as detailed in the below post copied from your support forum.  Please check it out.  My id/profile needs to be 'synched' as described below.  Can you help and do this please.  Thanks.

Unable to connect to internet tools

I signed in with the primary account user. The one whose name is on the bill and the one who opened the account. The only thing I can connect to is email. If I go to "My connection" and scroll to internet tools I come to the upsell page. "If you had cox you could be...."

If I go to Online back up or security software I get

"The page you have requested is not available. This may result from logging in as an Authorized User instead of the Primary Account Holder. For your security, only Primary Account Holders can access certain features such as Cox Security Suite, Secure Online Backup, Parental Controls, and other account management settings."

I have tried this in Firefox, explorer and Chrome. I even tried on my phone through browser and dolphin and I went so far as to try it with TOR. Nothing. I turned on cookies, gave cox.net permissions, turned off any possible Ad Blocking add ons and allowed pop up windows. Still no good. Please help

Alex

Looks like there was an issue with the profile transfer a while back, keeping email active but not other features.

Try it again if you could please, and if it still doesn't work then clear cache and cookies once more and see if it works then. Thanks!

I had the same problem following my inital installation.

The problem was that my user name was not synched to my account.

E-mail customer support referred me to Backup Technical Support who referred me to my local office who referred me to Tier 2 who fixed it.

The synching was supposed to happen as part of the installation process but didn't for some unknown reason
