Signal levels look good. Could be the gateway. Have you tried another unit? Other then that nothing comes to mind.

And by the way..theres only like 3-5 users that actually help others. If you want help, feel free to try to help another customer here. Give to get.

I'll try buying a new modem from bestbuy tomorrow. I'm going to buy a new modem from bestbuy tomorrow to see if it fixes the issue. Turning off the wireless portion of the modem seems to stabilize the connection a little bit. Now I only get disconnected every 4 - 5 minutes.

What area are you in BobinPVE? I'm in New Orleans, LA.

Just make sure you can return it incase the problems continue. I would suggest the Netgear N450

Looks like my issue got resolved this morning. Cox called me this morning to cancel my technician appointment. They said I was, apparently, part of a nearby outage. Next time I have this issue I'll ask if their is an outage near my area. Thank you Health Egde and BobinPVE for your help.

Ahh, a outage. If it makes you feel better, your setting up the trouble call might have been what triggered the outage and alerted them to the problem. So you might have helped get alot of other people back online who weren't calling.
